Proposed Mt. Pleasant Neighborhood Recieves Planning Board Approval
August 1, 2005
Charleston, SC (August 2005) – The Beach Company’s plans for a single family residential community, located on Rifle Range Road, near the center of the town limits of Mt. Pleasant is one step closer to final approval. The master-planned neighborhood, Scotts Creek, is named after the tributary of the Intercoastal Waterway that is contiguous to the neighborhood.
The Beach Company received Planning Board approval, and subsequently the Annexation process into the Town of Mt. Pleasant has been formally initiated. “We are excited about this significant first step in the development process of Scotts Creek,” said Kent Johnson, Vice President of Development & Acquisitions for The Beach Company. “We believe this proposed community will be well received by the surrounding neighborhoods as well as the future residents of Scotts Creek. We look forward to working with our neighbors and the Town of Mt. Pleasant during the Annexation process.”
Scotts Creek is currently scheduled for its first release of homesites in spring of 2006. Sales for the community will be coordinated by Beach Residential, the residential brokerage division of The Beach Company, with offices located in The Shoppes at Seaside Farms in Mt. Pleasant. The community will consist of 71 homesites ranging in size from 1/3-acre to 1-acre.
The Beach Company, celebrating its 60 year anniversary, has honored a tradition of responsibility and excellence in providing top quality real estate products and services for communities, businesses, industries and most importantly families across the Charleston Lowcountry and Southeast Region.
